In the Spring of 2002 we completed construction on a new 1,200 square foot studio. The studio was built on a vacant lot behind our house in Hillsdale.

We designed the building with the idea of a little barn in mind so that it would blend with the other structures in the area and yet function well as a studio and small gallery. When you enter from the ground floor there is a display area of bronzes. Behind this is storage and workshops. On the second floor is the sculpting area, which is all open and lit by a large sky light. Vivian and I enjoyed designing it and building it along with our Amish friends.
